Unique to start writing his first book soon. "I have always wanted to move in other directions other than music. I m all about expression & being felt rather than heard. You can express yourself in so many ways and this is just another way of doing so.-unique. He also mentions that it will be a book of poetry like no other. He calls it ''Hipoetry''.

If you look directly at Unique what do you see? A young man doing what he loves best, performing music. A warm hearted individual with his mind set on a successful future.
If you were to look into the lazy "eyes" of Unique what do you see? Someone who's depressed & dont know whether or not he's mad at the world or himself. A man who has no tears left to shed.
But if you put the two together you have a creation like no other.
Born Kevin D. Leaper 03/16/86 in Monroe, MI. By age 7 he was diagnosed with bi-polar & anxiety disorder, as well as manic depression. Treated for years & years still to come. Always in trouble with family as well as the law Unique had no choice but to get help. It got to the point to where it was dangerous and even deadly to be around him. One moment he would be completly normal then all of a sudden the world would turn in a 360 motion.
Although he has love for a wide range of genres such as, rock, soul, & blues. Hip Hop was always his niche. "You gotta love it's art form, the distinctive beats & the poetry involved in the lyrics." quotes Unique.
Thats when he decided this was for him & god gave him this talented gift to get through life & be in control. By age twelve he had already put out his first album, "Stay Tru". Now at age 19 he is coming strong with his 7th solo album (2nd major independent) "Deep End".
He has total control of every part in creating his music. Produces, Writes, Engineers & mixes all his own music. He even does all the graphic designs for the album covers, signs, flyers, web site, etc.
With plans on going nowhere but furthur into this beautiful music you can be sure to look for more to come!
